We’re seeking a skilled Industrial Painter with proven experience in heavy machinery painting to join our team in Tokoroa. This hands-on role involves preparing, priming, and spray-painting large-scale equipment and machinery used in industrial and forestry environments. Key Responsibilities: Surface preparation including sanding, grinding, and masking Applying primers and industrial-grade coatings using spray equipment Operating safely in a workshop and yard environment Working to job specs, paint thickness standards, and tight deadlines Performing minor touch-ups and paint repairs as needed What You’ll Bring: Minimum 2 years’ experience in industrial or heavy machinery painting Competency with airless spray guns and conventional painting tools Solid understanding of surface prep and industrial coating systems Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to work independently and as part of a team Forklift or EWP tickets a bonus (but not essential) We Offer: Competitive hourly rate Stable full-time hours A strong health & safety culture
