Vehicle Repair Staff

Action Manufacturing LP is seeking an experienced, multi-disciplined welder/fabricator to join their small Repairs team based in Hamilton. As a team member you will be responsible for repairing specialist light and heavy vehicles, including maintenance, insurance work and modifications. You will be responsible for accurate assessment of your tasks in order to perform them correctly and in line with targets ensuring vehicle repairs are to the highest standard. You will need to be able to work unsupervised, and be experienced in both small & larger scale accident repairs. Small scale restoration skills would also come in handy from time to time. The ideal applicant must have the following qualifications and experience: • NZ welding certification • Minimum of 4 years fabrication experience • Coachbuilder or panel beating skills • In-depth understanding of welding processes, including mig, tig and arc • Able to read and interpret drawings • An eye for detail is essential to restore vehicles to their original condition • Experience with all types of specialist body repair equipment is also essential • A punctual reliable and dependable team player • Proactive in following all Health and Safety guidelines and procedures It would be beneficial if the applicant is self-driven team player who enjoys a challenge. You will need to be professional in both appearance & attitude, as well as be self motivated and a focused team player with good time management & communication skills.
