Our preference is for someone with existing experience in Supermarkets at a senior Level. However, we are open to a candidate with experience leading a team in a volume-centered retail environment or similar industry with responsibility for stock availability as well as levels of customer service.  * A leader that is passionate about people, and has the proven ability to prioritise and achieve multiple objectives, while maintaining a calm, controlled and pleasant environment that fosters team development and growth * A Proven record of effective delegation, with close follow-up of standards and timeframes * Proven experience with making effective and calculated decisions * An exceptional customer service champion * Experience working within multiple supermarket departments preferred * Physically fit, and able to fulfil the requirements of the role – heavy lifting is required * Current Forklift or Reach truck certificate preferred. * Current Managers Certificate (Liquor License) preferred

Price Integrity Manager

Pak'n save Petone are looking for a Price Integrity Manager to oversee our price integrity in store. We are looking for someone with the relevant experience required for this role.  All applicants must have the following skills and experience: * At least two years' experience working with pricing. *  Ensure all advertising and ticketing is printed and displayed in time for commencement of the mailer / promotion. * Print and review Price Variance reports. Provide Item Movement Reports to all Department Managers. · * Complete weekly transmission price changes to tills plus any manual price changes and loading new product lines. · * Ensure the whole store is legally compliant and up to date from a pricing perspective through the management of an ongoing program of scanning all aisles and areas of the store on a cyclical basis. · * Ensure costs are kept within the parameters set out by Owner Operator. *  Achieve cost goals through monitoring department systems in an effective and timely manner. * Manage assigned activities, promotions and initiatives within plan, budget and resource deployment delegations. * Have an understanding of health and safety management responsibilities relative to the position. * Ensuring all methods to identify and manage safety hazards are fully adhered to. * Following health and safety and food safety policies. * Computer literate. *  Retail experience to a supervisory level. * Good command of written / spoken English. * Experience with price integrity or compliance. The days and hours are Tuesday to Saturday 5.00am - 2.00pm. $30-32 + per hour depending on experience.   Note: In accordance with the Immigration Act 2009, you will be required to provide evidence of your entitlement to work in New Zealand during the selection process.

We have an exciting opportunity to join the New World Long Bay team, as price Integrity / Inventory controller assistant - reporting to our on-shelf availability manager  The position: * Create & plan count documents for Cycle Counts and help with cycle counts as required. * Ensure the counting deadlines are met.  * Analyse count differences working back through processes to determine root cause.  * Liaise with appropriate buyers over all stock related issues impacting on the smooth transition of stock into the store.  * Assist when required in the layout and locating of products by ensuring all new products are located satisfactorily.  * Check and investigate ghost stock and negative stock. * Scanning new products to ensure appropriate ticketing is developed and produced. *  Ensuring all store specials and end displays have appropriate price tickets. *  Making posters for in-store displays and in store signs and promotions. *  Putting out weekly price change tickets. *  Printing foyer and advert posters. *  Ensuring all departments have the required tickets for the following week and display appropriate ticketing on a weekly basis. *  Replacing data strips as required. *  Ordering ticketing supplies as required. *  Compliance scans of promotions *  Assisting in other areas of the store as required. SAP knowledge is essential to this position and experience is required. The position is full time and based on 5 days per week.
