Competency Areas: • A minimum of “6 years-experience” in the scaffolding industry and experience as a supervisor is preferable. • Must have an Advanced SARNZ COC Scaffolding Ticket • Ability to work in a team and individually. • Sound decision making. • Excellent verbal and written communication. • Attention to detail. • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. • To maintain the highest standards of personal and professional conduct. • To interact and communicate effectively with Tana NZ Limited team, to contribute to the professional and safe erection and delivery of all scaffold systems as per “Best Practice Guidelines”. • To provide technical advice on equipment to Customers as and when required. • Problem solving and Decision-making skills. • Ability to maintain daily logistic records • Stress and Time management skills. • Truck and equipment safety. • Transport logistics system and procedures. • Ability to understand technical designs and drawings • Ability to operate vehicles in a safe and responsible manner. • Ability to operate required equipment in a safe and responsible manner. NZ Driver's license, a clean class 1 and Class 2 &/or 4 would be advantageous Responsibilities: • Communicate with the Branch Manager discuss and establish daily job bookings and requirements. • Calculate scaffold loadings and establish appropriate scaffolding platform to build. • Ensure safe erection and dismantle of equipment as per S.O.P.S or “Best Practice Guidelines”. Working with the QS on monthly claims to ensure accurate invoicing • Assist crew with Job start up (complying with the supplied drawings) to ensure the crew is set up for success • Organize and monitor team of men effectively and efficiently. • Ensure all daily work sheets are completed as per S.O.P.S • Ensure all works carried out on site are recorded and forwarded to the office for processing no later than 24 hours after work has been completed. • Ensure all Variations to the job are captured and authorized by the Client. • When job complete must do a final site clearance check to ensure all equipment has been stacked, ready for pick up and fully removed. • Ensure site is kept clean at all times. • Communicate all invoicing of day work sheets with Office Manager. • Stack equipment safely ready for pick up or transportation. • A sweep of the site is to be done at completion of job. If gear is left over, organise for it to be collected and returned to the yard. • Ensure all invoice have been claimed at the end of each month. Health & Safety Responsibilities: • Check worksites for possible hazards, identify record and have rectified. • As and when required, inspect scaffolding for safety and compliant (assisting the Health and Safety Management team). • There is to be no smoking/ vaping in Company vehicles.
