Description

We are looking for an experienced shepherd general to join our 1680 hectare sheep and beef station, up the Ohuka Road, 45 minutes from Wairoa. Key Responsibilities: General farm maintenance to ensure optimal condition of the land and facilities. Working with a breeding herd, finishing all progeny, trading cattle, and lamb finishing. Handling stock with 4 to 5 broken-in dogs. Work independently and as part of a team. Requirements: Proven experience in shepherding and farm maintenance. 4 to 5 broken-in dogs essential. Honest, reliable, and self-motivated with a strong work ethic. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Current NZ driver’s license. New Zealand residency.
