Night Watch Foal Attendant Required This is a unique opportunity for a starter in the industry to gain valuable experience foaling or a mature person who would like to work nightshift. Experience not necessary but reliability and responsibility a must. Shifts available are 7.30pm-1am or 1am-6.30am. Some double shifts (7.30pm-6.30am) available if the applicant prefers Mapperley Stud has been in the business of breeding and rearing thoroughbreds for over 50 years. Boasting a rich history, Mapperley is situated on 600 acres of beautiful rolling matamata country and is committed to continuing their ascent into becoming one of the country’s leading thoroughbred studs. Primary Duties include: • Monitoring mares for signs of foaling • Contacting on call staff once foaling begins • Monitoring the health of mare and foal post foaling ensuring the foal meets required targets • General duties – feeding, mucking out, replenishing hay/water • Ability to work unsupervised with an extremely high attention to detail Job will start immediately and normally finishes end of November but dependent on number of mares left to foal. Shifts are flexible. Potential for further training and ongoing employment opportunities. Remuneration dependent on experience. Fencer-General | Full-Time | Waipari Station – Coastal Hawke’s Bay Waipari Station is on the lookout for a full-time Experienced Fencer-General to join our team of 3. We're after someone who’s hard-working, enthusiastic, and takes initiative keen to enhance their career. About Waipari Station: Waipari is a diverse coastal station including Flats, steep & rolling hill country located 35 minutes south of Waipawa. We are a 1330ha, 10,000SU sheep & Beef Station with 300ha of forestry. FAP & GAP-4 certified, finishing to Atkins Ranch. We pride ourselves on using modern & safe gear and utilizing the latest technology.
