1986 Nissan Safari 2-for-1 deal LWB Granroad, great condition, wof, rego, RUC. SWB Hardtop, engine good, panels rusting away. For parts only (or maybe a hunting wagon revival?). Both 1986, SD33T 6-cyl engine, 5-speed manual, massive PTO winch. I drove the Hardtop in Japan, and brought it to NZ in 1990. I loved it for 20 years and 300,000 km. No trouble, but rust killed it and I drove it on-farm, then parked it up for parts. In 2009 I bought the Granroad for road use. Tows superbly, good off-road, invincible winch, no trouble. Full-spec model: high-top, sunroof, running boards, etc. Original paint that's like armour plating. It is a marvellous vehicle in great condition and needs a better home than I can offer. Farm use would destroy it and I can’t attend to the TLC of a classic vehicle. It gets a lot of attention and comments as a well preserved example, and would look fantastic with a fine new coat of paint. It’s just been meticulously de-rusted under and over by a classic car pro tradesman. I've left it un-repainted so that you can see what's there. Always well serviced and maintained. Upholstery good for age and would respond well to a deep clean. Handy thick ply folding deck for camping and more luggage capacity. 24v system with 12v converter for accessories and towing. I've traded down to a Y61 truck and will miss touring in the stately old Grand Lady.
