





We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead a major structural upgrade project for heavy civil infrastructure in Otago. This role requires regular work away from home and offers a clear pathway to Construction Manager, working alongside our Branch Manager upon project completion. You will manage all aspects of project delivery including client relationships, consultants, and self-delivery teams. The project involves structural upgrades including site works, temporary works, lift plans, concrete operations, and sheet piling. Key Responsibilities - Overall project management and delivery accountability - Primary client liaison and stakeholder management - Coordinate with consulting engineers and specialist subcontractors - Lead and direct on-site project teams - Manage project scope, timeline, budget, and quality standards - Oversee concrete works, sheet piling, and lifting operations - Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements Essential Requirements - 8+ years project management experience in heavy civil construction - Proven experience with structural infrastructure projects - Strong background in concrete works, temporary works, and sheet piling - Experience with lift planning and crane operations - Excellent client relationship management skills - Relevant tertiary qualification in civil engineering an advantage - Current New Zealand driver's licence What My Client Offers My client provides an excellent benefits package including: - Competitive salary - Company vehicle - Medical insurance - Recognition as a top company for career development About My Client My client is a dynamic and innovative leader in New Zealand infrastructure.
