





As a key member of the construction team, you'll take ownership of trail and bridge projects from start to finish — managing resources, guiding the crew, liaising with stakeholders, and picking up the tools when needed. You'll work across unique, rewarding projects that require engineering/construction precision and high-level time and logistics management. Please note: This role is working as a contractor and is for a fixed (negotiable) period of time. Key Responsibilities: * Manage the end-to-end delivery of civil projects (trails, tracks, suspension bridges, etc.) * Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications * Order and coordinate materials, equipment, and subcontractors * Direct and support site teams to meet programme, quality, and safety goals * Plan and maintain construction schedules and budgets * Implement or improve project management systems (digital tools/software) * Work alongside clients, consultants, and local authorities * Get hands-on on-site when needed — lead from the front About You: * Proven experience in civil construction or engineering (3+ years in PM or Site Manager role) * Able to read and work from construction plans with confidence * Strong organisational and leadership skills * Comfortable using or setting up project management software * Practical, can-do mindset — not afraid to get your boots dirty * Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities * Passion for the outdoors and remote project work is a bonus!
