We truly believe that when people achieve their financial goals, their whānau and communities flourish as a result. **To help us with this, we are searching for a IT Manager to join our Technology and Transformation team located in Invercargill on a fixed term basis.** **What you'll be busy with:** The IT Manager leads and modernises SBS Bank's technology operations, overseeing infrastructure, networks, cyber security, vendor relationships and support. This role drives the shift to cloud platforms, manages system transitions, and builds capability to ensure secure, scalable technology for the Bank's digital transformation. **Key result areas include:** * Leading with empathy, clarity, and purpose creating a high-trust, collaborative and engaged culture across branches and departments, promoting shared teamwork and understanding across the SBS group. * Evaluating and documenting SBS's infrastructure support model, and operational capabilities. * Developing and implementing a modernisation roadmap aligned with strategic goals. * Leading the transition to cloud-based services (AWS and Azure). * Responsible for operational resilience, overseeing daily operation of networks, infrastructure, system support and cybersecurity maturity. * Responsible for Vendor and Performance management. **What you'll bring:** * Substantial experience in technology operations or infrastructure roles, with at least three years in a leadership position. * Proven experience leading transformation to cloud (AWS and/or Azure) in complex or regulated environments. * Strong understanding of networking, cybersecurity, ITIL processes, and infrastructure lifecycle management. * Demonstrated success in uplifting technical teams and fostering high-performance cultures. * Experience managing Vendor contracts and operation service delivery.
