AEWV Employer with approved level 2 job check looking for a Liquor Store Manager. Successful applicant must have at least 1 years experience working in liquor industry. You must hold a Duty Manager certificate to apply for this position. Must be able to work well independently. Ordering, Invoicing , Inventory, Banking & in general you will be responsible for running the store. - Ensure stocks are stored and rotated correctly. - Maximize business opportunities through monitoring and taking advantage of trends, special promotions etc. - Ensure merchandising throughout the store is effective, eye-catching and signage is big, bold and attractive. - Ensure staff are correctly and smartly dressed at all times. - Practice and model good customer relations skills. - Ensure staff are aware of and practice good customer relations skills. - Ensure your product knowledge is up-to-date and carry out regular training/coaching sessions to ensure staff also know the product and can therefore offer the best possible service to customers. - Ensure no liquor is sold to anyone under the age of 18 or outside trading hours. - Ensure the invoice book is up-to-date and contains the required signatures. - Ensure the price list is up-to-date at all times and items are correctly priced. - Ensure cashing-up procedures are strictly adhered to. - Ensure returns are correctly accounted for and stored under strict security conditions. - Ensure deliveries are organized in such a manner that customer service is not interrupted, stocks unloaded and stored as quickly as possible. - Ensure the collection of empties and delivery of goods is strictly supervised to minimize loss and pilferage. - Ensure effective procedures are in place for the event of shoplifting, fire or a bomb scare. - Hold regular staff meetings and ensure effective two-way communication at all times. - Ensure staff records are up-to-date and kept in accordance with company/statutory regulations. - Be fully conversant with, and practice, good industrial relation policies, ensuring fair and equitable discipline.. - Making Roasters, check & sign other staff members timesheets and emailing to payroll provider correctly, keeping the timesheet records. - Any other duties as required by employer Applicants must be NZ Citizens, residents or have the legal right to work in NZ.
