*The Role* In this Bulk Liquids Transport role, you will be responsible for the loading and delivery of bulk liquid chemicals throughout the South Island and be a key interface between IXOM and our customers. Integral to this role will be your ability to maintain our strong commitment to Safety, Health and Environment, uphold high standards in relation to your vehicle presentation as well as preparation of paperwork. Working as part of the Timaru Bulk Liquids Transport team, your work roster for this position is 4 days on and 4 days off, 12-hour shifts, plus OT and allowances (when available) on top of your base salary. As Ixom's customer base covers the length of the South Island, you may be required to stay away some nights during your rostered working days (allowances provided and costs covered) *Skills & Experience* An experienced Class 5 driver. Ideally 2 years' operating at class 5 with ideally Dangerous Goods experience You must be honest, trustworthy and be able to work independently. Someone who is health and safety focused. Has good time management skills and be able to work unsupervised. Understand the HPMV permit system and comply with its conditions. You will need to be able to reverse a B Train or truck and trailer. Are prepared to work and stay away from home. Be a good communicator. Have some mechanical knowledge and be able to use technology with some competence. You will need to be fit and healthy. You will need to be able to pass a medical examination, including a drug and alcohol test pre-employment as well as randomly over time as required.
