Description

N J & D M Repairs Limited is a very busy Truck Repair Workshop in the South Canterbury Area. We are agents for MAN Trucks, and Sub Agents for Volvo, Mack, Nissan (UD), and also carry out work on most models of vehicles as needed. We are looking for someone to fill the role of Parts Technician. This involves: * Maintaining and managing workshop stock levels * Keeping parts room tidy * Reordering stock replacement * Receiving stock replacement * Ordering parts for specific jobs on vehicles * Receiving parts for specific jobs * Returning exchange parts used, to suppliers * Returning parts not used on jobs to suppliers * Ensuring that all stock/part transactions are documented correctly * Carry out minor tasks within the workshop when requested. The right person for the job will have: * Class 1 Drivers Licence * Some Understanding on the mechanics of heavy vehicles. * A Can Do Attitude * Good communication Skills * Ability to manage their workload * Work well as an individual or as a team member * Some experience within the automotive parts industry would be ideal but not necessary
