THE ROLE: * As a Traffic Controller (TC) you will be providing temporary traffic management and related services to manage people and traffic safety. Day to day activities include but are not limited to: Setting up, supervising, removing equipment - sometimes diverting traffic on a stop/go. * Additional to the standard TC role, your class 1 license will allow you to drive our Double cabs/Utes and your class 2 license our TMA's. We will be able to utilize your skills for different types of jobs when needed - Shadow driving, back up driving, Transporting your fellow crew members to and from the yard to site and that's just the beginning. Stringfellows currently has a full-time position available for an apprentice within our drainage team. This position is open to applicants with no prior experience but experience in similar hands-on outdoor work would be beneficial. A mentoring and training programme would be provided by Stringfellows, with the successful applicant completing national trade certificates as part of their training. Applicants without any prior experience will also gain heavy vehicle licences and a Wheels, Tracks and Rollers endorsement as part of their training.
