Description

About the Role: This is a hands-on leadership position ideal for someone who is passionate about hospitality and ready to take ownership of both bar operations and broader service delivery. You'll support the Restaurant Manager in daily operations, training staff, overseeing and working the bar, and helping drive a high-performing, positive team culture. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage all aspects of bar operations including stock control, ordering, and beverage list development Support the Restaurant Manager in day-to-day service and shift supervision Work the bar during most services, preparing drinks, greeting guests, taking payments and helping with clean up at the end of the night Train and motivate FOH staff to deliver consistently high service standards Assist in managing bookings, customer experience, and floor service Ensure seamless service for both our tasting and à la carte menus Handle customer feedback with professionalism and warmth Help drive team morale, performance, and a positive working environment About You: 2–4 years of experience in a similar hospitality leadership role Excellent knowledge of wine, spirits, and cocktails (New Zealand wine knowledge a bonus) Strong communication and leadership skills Able to thrive in a fast-paced, service-focused environment A hands-on leader who leads by example A genuine passion for food, drink, and guest experience High attention to detail and pride in presentation Current NZ Manager’s Certificate and valid RSA (or willing to obtain) Why Join Tītī?
