Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Pet Food Packer & Filler to join our team in a hands-on manufacturing environment. This role isn’t just about physical work – we're after someone who can think ahead, follow process, and grow with the business. Hours are 0600-1600 Monday to Friday Duties include: Operating filling and packing equipment Sealing bags and labelling finished product Boxing and palletising orders for dispatch Marking off production and order sheets Keeping the workspace clean and tidy Following food safety and manufacturing procedures What we’re looking for: Physically fit and able to lift up to 25kg Strong attention to detail and accuracy Great attitude toward teamwork and cleanliness Able to follow instructions and work independently Good with paperwork and planning Someone who shows potential to lead and can think laterally If you’re motivated, organised, and ready to contribute to a fast-growing pet food business, we’d love to hear from you.

We are a 24/7 operation, so the role requires a rotating shift pattern, working 2 x 7am - 7pm, then 2 x 7pm - 7am, then having 4 consecutive days off.  You will be working as a key member of a small team across the area, so attendance at work is critical to ensure the operation is appropriately resourced.  There is some manual handling required on occasion, and you are on your feet for several hours, so a reasonable level of fitness and strength and agility is required. *The Role* In this Bulk Liquids Transport role, you will be responsible for the loading and delivery of bulk liquid chemicals throughout the South Island and be a key interface between IXOM and our customers. Has good time management skills and be able to work unsupervised. Understand the HPMV permit system and comply with its conditions. You will need to be able to reverse a B Train or truck and trailer.
