About the job: We're looking for an experienced Water Technician to join our team in Timaru. The role involves actively maintaining water reticulation networks on a reactive or scheduled basis to contract specifications. This may include: o Installation of new water main pipes and connections. o Repair leaking water mains, meter connections, service pipes, and irrigation systems. o Flushing, digging trenches and servicing valves and hydrants. All preferred candidates will be required to complete preemployment checks to the employer's satisfaction. This may include: o General labouring such as cleaning, clearing, lifting or other civil work. o Use and maintain hand tools. o Operate plant as required such as Loaders, Rollers and Trucks.
