Are You IPSL's Next Field Technician - Water? We’re looking for a Field Technician (Water) to join our team. If you think it could be you, let’s talk. For this role, you must have: * A Water ticket - minimum Level 3 Certificate in Water Reticulation or equivalent * Class 1 Full Driver's Licence; Class 2+ and WTR are preferred * Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role * Prior experience in civil construction * A keen interest in learning the principles of water reticulation, pipeline pressure testing, and chlorination * We will need you to work Monday to Friday from 7:30 am – 4:30 pm (with overtime options) and be open to working weekends and public holidays occasionally. We're looking for Water Technicians to help our team in pressure testing and chlorinating water pipelines. This role is crucial for our goal to distribute clean drinking water efficiently. What does a day in this job look like? You will start your day at our Rolleston base, preparing equipment and review job requirements. You’ll then work independently (or with a colleague) driving between civil/water infrastructure sites mainly within Canterbury. At these sites, you will follow IPSL's industry-leading chlorination and pressure testing procedures to ensure the water pipelines or reservoirs meet commissioning standards for drinking water.
