Description

We are looking for seasonal tractor operators to come and join our team for the 2025 season. We run a modern fleet of tractors with auto-steer and we specialise in precision planting, direct drilling, cultivation and baling. You will be operating our cultivation and baling gear, will be drilling if you have the experience. If you have a great attitude and experience, then this would be ideal position for you!!!! It would be Advantageous to you if you had experience in boom spraying. We can work in with you on the length of time, ideally starting in September, can be up until December but could go through to March if you would like to work on a cropping farm during harvest. We are an agricultural contracting business, which is located in South Canterbury, in the Waimate District. We work with small to large clients and varying terrain working on flat land by the sea through up into the hills. We are centrally located to beaches, mountains, lakes and cities. Which you can make the most of on your days off. What we are looking for: • Experience in operating tractors with a range of large implements eg cultivation, drilling and precision planting. • Skilled, hardworking and have attention to detail • Relate well to our farming clients • There will be Maintenance of tractors and machinery, so mechanical skills would be advantageous. • Hold a valid driver’s license. • Flexible & committed to working extended hours as necessary • Work as part of a team or independently • Assist with other farming duties What we can provide: • There will be training and guidance provided • An attractive remuneration package will be structured to recognise experience and performance. • Friendly environment to work in, and a great way to meet like-minded people • Shared self contained house available to rent.
