Apply for the role of Experienced Pizza Chef/Chef at Bongusto Pasta Café & Workshop to assist us in producing our wonderful Roman style Pizza and fresh Pasta to our Loyal customers. About us (Chi siamo noi) We are looking for an Experienced Qualified Chef and Pizza Chef to join our friendly team for 30- 40 hours per week. This is not your typical café role, this position is key to support the already steady growth of the business. Since 2011, Bongusto Pasta Workshop and Café has been successfully bringing you pizza and pasta with market-fresh, all-natural ingredients. Our owner has over 35 years experience in the hospitality industry. Our café and catering business have been operating since 2011, and has been growing over the years. We are considered an iconic café in Miramar. Our fine products are distributed at selected supermarkets and we have loyal customers who come back time and time again to experience not only our exceptional food but our friendly service and culture that we pride ourselves on. Our hours are Monday to Saturday 7am -3pm, with a late night Pizza night shifts available Friday nights. This provides great flexibility and a balanced lifestyle for our team members. Competitive salary will be based on experience and skills. About you (Chi sei tu) We are looking for someone with at least three (3) years experience in producing Roman style Pizza and fresh Pasta or similar experience. Experience as a pizza maker, chef qualifications and knowledge of Italian café culture and cuisine is essential. To be a successful candidate we're looking for the ability to: * In-depth knowledge of Italian cuisine, including various pizza and pasta styles. *Work efficiently and calmly under pressure * Give and receive respectful and knowledgeable direction * Multi-task and communicate well with others * Encourage a professional and career orientated work ethic * Work well in the café team and autonomously * Be enthusiastic about customer service and delivering excellent quality * Demonstrate excellent technical skills * Communicate well both written and verbally This is an opportunity not to be missed.
