You will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and serving high-quality food, ensuring all tasks are performed with due regard for Health and Safety and Food Safety regulations. This is a Permanent Full Time Position. Ko o kawenga / Your responsibilities: * Prepare, cook, and present food to the highest standards. * Assemble and prepare ingredients, including dairy, dry goods, fruit, vegetables, meat, seafood, and poultry. * Maintain quality control and ensure consumer satisfaction by exceeding expectations. * Receive and store kitchen supplies, ensuring proper rotation and maintenance. * Clean and maintain kitchen premises, including equipment and surfaces, and handle waste and linen appropriately. He korero mou / About you: * NZQA Level 4 Certificate in Cookery or equivalent. * Previous experience cooking in a similar environment. * Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive outlook and professional manner. * Team player with the ability to work autonomously. * Physically fit, reliable, and able to pass a police clearance.
