You’ll be operating a high-quality fleet and working a **rotating 3/3/3 roster**. This role will be based out of our Bulk Store at the Washdyke yard in Timaru. You will be responsible for loading your truck at Washdyke and delivering and unloading to a local dairy factory. The candidate must be comfortable with a truck-sharing arrangement, demonstrates good habits around vehicle care, specifically by maintaining a clean, tidy and well-presented cab at all times. Flexibility is required to suit business and seasonal needs. The ideal candidate will : • Have experience in a purchasing/inventory control role preferably in a manufacturing or engineering environment • Have proven experience in negotiating with & managing key supplier relationships • Be experienced in dealing with overseas suppliers & managing international freight logistics • Demonstrate an ability to work closely with the production team to ensure timely delivery and availability of materials for production • Be leading a small inventory logistics team • Have a high level of Microsoft Word and Excel computer skills. You will be trained on various drill rigs and will work closely with our Drillers to learn about the drilling industry.
