Work for one of New Zealand’s industry leaders and local manufacturer of food ingredients to major brands in NZ and overseas. Based in Mount Maunganui, they are setting the standard in excellence for food product manufacturing. About the Role You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth flow of products and may have the opportunity to advance into critical roles within the organization. Key Responsibilities: • Operate and maintain filling and packaging equipment to ensure products are filled, sealed, and packaged accurately according to quality standards. • Set up and operate machines, monitor performance, troubleshoot any issues, and maintain a clean, safe workspace. • Stack boxes weighing between 5 to 12kg onto pallets. Ideal Candidate: We are ideally looking for someone with previous experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within the food or dairy industry. More importantly, you should have a can-do attitude and a willingness to learn. Requirements: • Previous experience in food manufacturing is a bonus. • A sound knowledge of computer systems, with email and data entry skills. • Mechanically minded • Tech-savvy and open to learning new systems. • Ability to follow instructions accurately. • High initiative and attention to detail. • Physically fit, as the job is manually intensive. • Effective communication skills. Advantageous but Not Essential: • Mechanical aptitude. • Current Forklift license. • Previous experience with CIP cleaning and handling bulk liquid products. Hours of Work: • 2 Days, 2 Nights, followed by 4 Days Off. • Shifts: 6am to 6pm | 6pm to 6am.
