Based in Mount Maunganui, they are setting the standard in excellence for food product manufacturing. About the Role You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth flow of products and may have the opportunity to advance into critical roles within the organization. Key Responsibilities: • Operate and maintain filling and packaging equipment to ensure products are filled, sealed, and packaged accurately according to quality standards. • Set up and operate machines, monitor performance, troubleshoot any issues, and maintain a clean, safe workspace. • Stack boxes weighing between 5 to 12kg onto pallets. Ideal Candidate: We are ideally looking for someone with previous experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within the food or dairy industry. More importantly, you should have a can-do attitude and a willingness to learn. Requirements: • Previous experience in food manufacturing is a bonus. • A sound knowledge of computer systems, with email and data entry skills. • Mechanically minded • Tech-savvy and open to learning new systems. • Ability to follow instructions accurately. • High initiative and attention to detail. • Physically fit, as the job is manually intensive. • Effective communication skills. Advantageous but Not Essential: • Mechanical aptitude. • Current Forklift license. • Previous experience with CIP cleaning and handling bulk liquid products. Hours of Work: • 2 Days, 2 Nights, followed by 4 Days Off. • Shifts: 6am to 6pm | 6pm to 6am.
