These gates originated from and Epsom homestead, where they were part of a large garden. They are matching and true to scale, it is two gates that are available, (#1 & #2)although being marketed individually, the winning bidder can elect to purchase just one or both. Naturally hand made, of mortise, tenon and dowel jointed of heart Totara. Although they are old, they are heavy and 'sound as a bell'. They have had some degree of restoration and painted they come complete with matching hardware. The purchaser can now elect to hang the gate/s either from the right or left hand side. The dimensions of each gate are; Width; 1.065 mm wide. Post upright with 'C' shaped 'horn' is ; 1.170 mm Latch upright is; 1.130 mm **the combined width of 2.130mm is NOT wide enough for a driveway** GATES; #1 & #2 ......Are definitely pedestrian gates.
