We're looking for the following qualities and experience: -Confident in leading shifts and managing staff -Ensuring our customers receive the very best customer service at all times. -Assist with stock control, reordering, and inventory checks. -Oversee tills, cash handling, and end-of-shift reconciliation. -Working alongside with the kitchen team to deliver the best experience to customers -You must have LCQ & Duty Manager Certificates. -Ensure the venue complies with the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012. -Manage and enforce responsible service of alcohol — no service to minors or intoxicated patrons -Must be living in New Zealand and meet all relevant working visa requirements. -Lead and support bar, kitchen, and floor staff during shifts -The successful applicant will need to be friendly, well-presented, hands-on, passionate, driven & knowledgeable about the hospitality industry. -Be able to work under pressure and remain calm -Be able to work weekends and late nights on a 5 days 2 days off roster Astrolabe offers consistent excellence to its cherished and loyal clients and is interested only in employing the best of the best.
