Join our team of 5 Mechanics and 2 tyre technicians as a HEAD MECHANIC at AUTOMOTIVE SERVICES & TYRES' in Whangaparaoa, Auckland. This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide range of vehicles to the highest standard. What you'll be doing Carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicles Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with electrical, mechanical, and electronic systems Perform routine checks, inspections, and servicing to industry standards Maintain detailed records of work completed and parts used Ensure workshop tools and equipment are well-maintained and safely operated Collaborate with the team to deliver excellent customer service Carry out WOF's What we're looking for Relevant trade qualification or equivalent experience as a Mechanic Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills Able to work accurately and efficiently to meet deadlines Good communication skills to liaise with customers and team members Commitment to providing high-quality work and exceptional customer service A valid driver's licence and your own reliable transport What we offer At AUTOMOTIVE SERVICES & TYRES', we are committed to supporting our team's professional development and work-life balance.
