It's green light growth in Southland and we have partnered with one of the sharpest in the industry to assist them in finding a new Contracts Manager. With a firm focus on the Construction and Site Works space you'll help deliver a number a private and public projects. They have the fire power of a tier 1 contractor with an impressive family feel throughout it's divisions. They don't skimp on surrounding staff with the essentials to ensure their needs are met and a work life balance is achieved. With an impressive forward workload, you'll have the flexibility to showcase your past experience, whilst managing a number of projects in and around the wider Southland region. You'll report to the Divisional Manager who has cut his teeth in the industry. With A team of around 40 strong, you'll be well equipped when striving for a successful project delivery. We are keen to hear from any leaders who have an impressive civil background, however if you have experience in the construction or site works space this will set you apart from the rest. What we are looking for: * Comfortable setting up basic work plans, methods, H&S and any environmental documentation * Ideally have a tertiary engineering qualification or working towards one * Experience reading plans and liaising with other project managers and engineers * Assisting in tendering for project's and working through variations / extra works * Proven basic leadership experience and the mindset of striving for a successful project delivery * Experienced on Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and Project * Actively contribute to the overall culture and strategic vison of the business.
