Sanford, a leading provider of seafood in New Zealand, is seeking a Senior Applications Support Lead to join our IT team based in our Auckland head office in stunning Wynyard Quarter. This pivotal role focuses on leading and developing our Applications Support team while ensuring the effective support of our newly implemented MES and ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and Axin MES). Reporting to the IT Applications Manager, you will combine hands-on technical expertise with people leadership to drive operational excellence, continuous improvement, and future system enhancements. Key Responsibilities: * Lead, mentor, and develop a small team of Applications Support Analysts, fostering collaboration and capability growth. * Provide hands-on support for business-critical applications, primarily D365 F&O and manufacturing execution systems (Axin). * Manage and oversee application support tickets using ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceDesk+), ensuring timely resolution within SLAs. * Maintain strong ownership of in-house support processes, reducing reliance on vendors. * Develop and maintain comprehensive support documentation and knowledge sharing practices. * Drive process and system improvements, ensuring scalable and business-aligned solutions. * Actively contribute to system changes, new implementations, and readiness of the support team. * Build effective relationships with key business stakeholders, ensuring alignment with organisational goals. About You: * Tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in Information Technology. * Demonstrated experience in leading or influencing application support initiatives, with strong technical expertise across ERP and production systems. * Excellent organisational, prioritisation, and stakeholder engagement skills. * Strong knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O and manufacturing execution systems (preferably Innova / Axin). * Skilled at managing competing demands and driving continuous improvement. * Proven ability to lead and collaborate effectively within teams, with a hands-on approach to problem-solving and support. * Industry experience in manufacturing or food processing is desirable.
