There experience in the freight industry spans over a long period of time which has meant they have built up a world wide network along with experienced and trusted staff who deliver excellent service. ABOUT THE ROLE The role will involve a bit of variety. Firstly you will be engaging with customers and attending to all their Import & Export sea requirements, predominantly import sea, order tracking, quoting customers and agents alike. Air cargo experience would also be an advantage. The role will also assist with movements into and out of the store. The role reports directly into the Christchurch Branch Manager. The successful candidate will also be put through training to become a TFO and be liaison with MPI for audits and record keeping. ABOUT YOU Our ideal candidates will have both Import and Export Operations experience and have a real passion for the industry and also have the below attributes; * Warehouse/Store experience * Forklift licence would be required for this role * Cargowise 1 operating knowledge is a must * Excellent time management and organisational skills * Thinks outside the box and will use your initiative * Attention to detail * A team player with the ability to work well under pressure * Excellent communication; verbal & written * Intermediate level in Microsoft Word and Excel * Pro-active and resourceful * Must be able to take ownership * Must be professional, well mannered and have a sense of humour SOUND LIKE YOU?
