* Full Time, On-Going Hours * Monday - Friday * Airport Oaks Based We are seeking a detail-oriented Customs Broker to join our operations team. This role is essential in ensuring smooth customs clearance for both imports and exports, including MPI clearances, while maintaining strong relationships with clients and internal teams. What You'll Do * Arrange customs and MPI clearance for imported goods across New Zealand * Request and verify documentation from clients for shipments * Create and manage "B" jobs (brokerage-only shipments) in eTrays * Ensure all shipment data is accurate and up-to-date in eTray 2, eTray 4, and EDI systems * Handle invoicing for B jobs, detention, demurrage, and cartage * Monitor Telex releases and container releases * Communicate with clients and customer service teams regarding clearance delays or issues What We're Looking For * Experience in customs brokerage or freight forwarding * Knowledge of import/export compliance and documentation * Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry * Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment * Excellent communication and client service skills * Proactive, reliable, and a team player Job Expectations * Ensure all shipments and invoices are processed accurately and in a timely manner * Complete airfreight clearance within 1 working day and oceanfreight clearance 7-10 days prior to ETA * Maintain up-to-date records of all customs and cartage eTrays * Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal teams Why Join Us? * Be part of a professional, supportive team * Opportunity to develop your skills in a growing logistics environment * Competitive salary and benefits based on experience Apply now to join a team dedicated to ensuring seamless import and export operations.
