It's not an easy role, but it's a rewarding one, which is why we believe in harnessing your talents and creating opportunities to develop you and your career with Ballance. This role is based in Awarua. A typical day will include: * Processing customer orders and inquiries - checking accuracy and fixing up any anomalies * Despatch of fertiliser products * Loader and forklift operation including maintenance * Fixed plant operation * Ensuring the site operates safely with regular maintenance checks and cleaning * Interacting with customers and colleagues and having a laugh! You will never be bored in this role and you get to stay active by getting out and interacting with our customers and operating the machinery. ABOUT YOU You’re not afraid of hard work and you get energy from getting stuck in and helping out where needed. Your colleagues would describe you as reliable, honest and a keen learner and you also have: * Good communication skills with the ability to relate well to others * Some computer skills are required with training provided for our in-house systems * A valid full class 1 and 2 license as training can be provided for forklift and loader operations. A valid W endorsement is highly desirable * A proactive attitude to health, safety and environmental management - we care about each other and we get home safe every day * The ability to work at other Ballance sites from time to time ABOUT US We love New Zealand, and we care about our growth, our land, and our people.
