We require a safety-conscious Hiab Operator who has a Class 4F/5F License and a passion to work with Hiabs. You will have a can-do attitude in this hands-on role and will love rolling up your sleeves and getting involved onsite. Teamwork and good communication is a must. What we need from you: • Class 4F or 5F licence with driving experience • 3+ years Hiab operating experience or similar • Excellent communication skills. • Great time management skills. • Strong health and safety focus. • Exceptional service to our customers • Team Player • Fit and active • Experience driving truck and trailer units These would be a nice-to-have: • Class 1 or 2 pilot's licence • Forklift licence • First aid certificate Come join a team of highly motivated people who are proud of who they work for and what they achieve. Direct Fats and Oils (DFO) is a nationwide company who collect, and process used cooking fats and oils, to be reused repurposed on a global scale. Giving a waste product new life. Hourly rate - "Negotiable for the right driver " A good portion of the working week is made up of full days driving and competing collections around the lower North Island from DFO's vast array of customers, whom you will communicate with at times- a through and diligent work ethic is required for this. These are at time long days, with a full workload. (Hours can range from 45-60 per week) DFO have a variety of trucks in their fleet, from small flat decks to larger vacuum sucker trucks. Once you've mastered your craft, be your own boss and manage your runs accordingly. DFO are looking for someone who is willing to wear a variety of hats... To better understand the full scope of the job, you will learn and assist in the yard also, which includes processing the product and general upkeep of the site. This can involve heavy labor and getting a bit messy. Someone physically fit is essential. Required: • Full class 4 license • Forklift- F endorsement (preferred, but not essential) • Proven experience in the transport industry • Class 2 & 4 Driver / Operator experience (manual trucks too) • A New Zealand resident, or the legal right to work in NZ • An unwavering commitment to Health & Safety • A can do and positive attitude. Interacting with our customers on a daily basis • Physical fitness. Position Description: To follow all instructions received from the Dispatcher, Branch Manager and Operations Manager. Have the correct class licence and endorsements for the vehicle being driven and the freight carried, this must include a Forklift licence. Uphold the profile of KPH Transport to a high level with your appearance, cleanliness and professionalism. Working on a daily basis to provide the highest level of service to our customers at all times so their expectations are met. Pay rate to be negotiated upon experience - Class 5 full licence required - Must have a forklift licence (OSH) and DG preferred - Produce knowledge an advantage - Health and Safety conscious attitude to work - Must have at lest 1 years or more work experience of heavy truck driving - Availability to work on rostered night shifts including weekends and public holidays.
