Curle Contracting Ltd is a family-owned excavating business based in Springfield 60 KM’s west of Christchurch. Our work is varied and interesting. The work can be anywhere from Arthurs Pass to Christchurch, and at times the wider South Island. All our equipment is modern and well maintained. An opportunity has arisen or an operator for our late model 14T Liebherr Wheel excavator. Your tasks will consist of cleaning water races, mulching, doing farm maintenance and working closely with the council. We hold Health and Safety in high regard, and you must be able to fill out paperwork daily. When you’re not in the wheel digger there will be other opportunities in the business such as truck driving, labouring, and working in other excavators. We can offer you: • A good hourly rate • 40-50 hours per week Monday to Friday • Immediate start or flexible for the right person • A supportive team • A family business where our staff are valued For this job you will need: • Previous experience in a wheel digger • Be reliable and a good communicator • Can Do Attitude • Not afraid of hand tools and lifting a shovel • WTR • Class 2 would be an advantage You must pass a pre-employment medical and a drug test.
