ALUMINIUM FABRICATOR/INSTALLER Davidsons has been successfully supplying Products and Services to an extensive client base for the past 40 years operating under the Homeplus Brand. We are seeking an Aluminium Fabricator/Installer to join our Team to fabricate and install aluminium products including Security Doors, Wardrobe Doors, Shower Doors, Balustrade and other similar products. You will need to be able to manufacture and install accurately, efficiently and safely. Maintain a clean and organized environment REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSTIION Preferably experience in Aluminium fabrication and installation but this is not essential as training will be provided. Adventure of a lifetime The Chatham Islands lie 750 km to the east of New Zealand's South Island. Moana is one of the biggest employers on the island, which is home to a small community of people, surrounded by pristine waters, that are world renowned for their rock lobster (crayfish), paua (abalone) and blue cod, that are sustainably harvested on these islands. Our Opportunity: We are looking for 1 seasonal Process Worker who is also able to take on truck driver responsibility to start in June and commit to a fixed term assignment until the end of Sept 2025. It is essential you possess a Full & Clean NZ Class 4 driver’s licence. This is a seasonal role to support or peak blue cod and paua seasons on the Chatham Islands. If you would like to gain experience working in fish processing and have a great work ethic, attitude and are reliable we are happy to train you. The role is focused on loading and unloading trucks, transportation of product between facilities and to and to the airport for exporting purposes. In addition, you will processing seafood; grading, packing, cleaning and general labouring works. A critical part of this role is ensuring the highest standard of food safety and quality, following all health & safety processes and practices, and working as an effective and reliable member of the team. From quality control and labouring duties to cleaning and supporting landings and loadouts. This is a physical role that requires focus and commitment at all times. Due to the nature of the business and changing tides and weather conditions you need to be adaptable and flexible when it comes to days and hours of work. This is a team-based operations, so you need to enjoy working with others, be able to take instructions and follow process, whilst supporting your colleagues and ensuring that every day, you are meeting targets, working to a high level of productivity and keeping each other safe. We operate our factories and processing functions to the strictest standard of food safety and compliance. It requires every one of our people to be committed to achieving this high standard, adhering to all health & safety requirements, and aligning behaviour, performance and engagement to our values and code of conduct.
