We’re on the lookout for a reliable and motivated Factory Shift Worker to join our team! This is a great opportunity for someone seeking consistent, long-term work with a great team and supportive environment. You must be okay with physical work. Shift Pattern: • PM Shift • Monday-Friday, 2:30pm to 11:30pm What we can offer: • Full-time hours • Weekly payments • Onsite staff parking • Temp-perm opportunity What You'll Be Doing: • Manual lifting and stacking of products • Forklift work (training provided) • Moving products onto & off trucks • Supporting smooth operations in the factory What we are looking for: • Has a proven track record of reliability • Must want to work the afternoon shift • Is physically capable of handling repetitive lifting and reaching tasks • Is looking for a long-term opportunity Note: You must be a permanent resident. We are Seeking: • Therapists with 3 - 5 years’ experience in Thai Massage and possess valid training certificates in Thai Massage. Experience in Herbal Ball, Hot Stone, Aromatherapy, Tok Sen and other specialty treatments would be an advantage. • While our preference is for therapists that are resident in New Zealand, we will accept applications from suitable therapists that are on current valid work visas or are wishing to work in New Zealand. • All therapists must be able to speak some English, offer massage advice to clients and explain their treatments, very friendly with excellent 'people' skills, a passion for their job and the ability to work in a team environment. Skellerns Metal Castings foundry is looking for an EXPERIENCED foundry metal casting technician for our production facility in Palmerston North. About the company Skellerns Metal Casting Ltd is a leading bespoke metal casting facility, with operations in Palmerston North, Auckland and Hamilton. We have been casting every shape and size of product in most metals for the last 50 years for New Zealand, Australia and beyond. Position Description * Prepare melt recipes for various ferrous metals including Cast Iron, SG Iron, specialty iron, mild steel, high tensile steels and stainless steels. * Partake in metal pouring and breakout of finished castings. * Undertake routine maintenance of the furnace body and reline as required. * DIFOT- to produce foundry castings within specification, in full and on time * Facilitate with our team for material testing to ensure compliance to specifications. Understand what feeder, runner and gate systems are needed for different product shapes and metals. * Follow all company health and safety rules and policies About you. You will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in melting of metals with induction furnaces. Ideally you will have sole charge experience being able to work without direct supervision. You will be systematic in your approach, with attention to detail and able to follow set guidelines to ensure compliance to international material specifications. You must also be fluent in English with verbal and written communication required, ideally with good email capability. We work with in a supportive and collaborative working style in a multicultural team, and you would be an energetic person willing to work alongside and assist as required. Applicants with extensive melting experience and demonstrated supervisory or managerial expertise are strongly encouraged to apply. This is a permanent full time role. The pay rate will be depending on your experience and additional attributes.
