SKILLS: As we are one of Rotorua's premier specialist Thai Restaurants, you should ideally know and understand the main cuisines from Thailand including Isaan, Southern Thailand, Lanna and Central Thailand. This is not mandatory, and training on this will be provided. As the duty manager, communication with our chefs will be vital and central to your role. So you will also need to demonstrate how you will communicate with our Specialist Thai Chefs who are from Thailand and do not speak English. QUALIFICATION & CHECKS: You should have or be able to obtain a Manager's Certificate & Licence Controller Qualification as we are a licensed establishment. You will be in charge of cash handling and banking activities, you will need to be able to pass a Ministry of Justice Criminal Record Check and Credit Check.
