SabrosoRestaurant is currently seeking a casualDishwasher/Kitchen Handto help our small team inRotoruaforseveral nights per week. This role will primarily focus onwashing dishes, cleaning, and assisting our Chef at Sabroso,a tiny, 24 seat owner-operated restaurant in the heart of Rotorua’s central business district.  Additional tasks will include front-of-house assistance and guest service. This position is ideal for a candidate who is working for accommodation or looking for additional work beyond a primary job or study. About the Role: * Main Focus: dishwashing and maintaining a high level of cleanliness throughout Sabroso. * Additional Duties: supporting our Chef with food service and preparation, and assisting front-of-house with serving food, clearing and resetting tables, etc. You’ll Need: * A great attitude and willingness to learn * Energy and resilience to work through a busy dinner service * Ability to communicate well in English * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Reliability, attention to detail, and pride in your work * Availability to work on Friday and Saturday nights * Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure Bonus if You Have: * Previous experience in commercial kitchens, restaurants or other hospitality venues Why Join Us? What the Role Involves: • 40 hours from mid-October - May. • Seasonal full-time work (October – May), with off-season casual hours and potential for year-round employment. • Operating our vessels for a variety of charters and lake shuttle services. • General vessel maintenance and cleaning. • Welcoming and hosting guests, cooking and serving food, and assisting with other varied duties that help keep a small business running.
