About the Role We're on the lookout for an experienced and enthusiastic Barista & Front of House team member to join our vibrant café in the Redwoods, Rotorua. In this full-time or part-time role, you'll be at the heart of delivering exceptional customer service and expertly crafted beverages, all while contributing to our upbeat and team-oriented culture. What You’ll Be Doing * Preparing and serving high-quality coffee, teas, and a variety of cabinet food items * Providing friendly, efficient service and ensuring a top-tier customer experience * Assisting with food and beverage orders, preparation, and presentation * Keeping your workstation clean, organised, and well-stocked * Supporting your teammates and maintaining a positive team environment * Following all health, safety, and hygiene protocols What We’re Looking For * Proven experience as a Barista or FOH team member, ideally in a fast-paced café * A passion for coffee culture and the ability to consistently produce high-quality specialty drinks * A warm, professional demeanour with excellent customer service skills – a genuine smile is essential! * High attention to detail and the ability to thrive under pressure * A strong team player who’s happy to help out wherever needed – we’re all in this together * Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and public holidays

Key Requirements: • SRL (Skipper Restricted Limits) licence or Ringfenced Local Launch Operator licence – this is essential. • A natural host – confident with both small intimate groups and larger tours. • Mechanically minded with basic troubleshooting skills. • Full, clean driver’s licence and good vision. • Must have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa. What the Role Involves: • 40 hours from mid-October - May. • Seasonal full-time work (October – May), with off-season casual hours and potential for year-round employment. • Operating our vessels for a variety of charters and lake shuttle services. • General vessel maintenance and cleaning. • Welcoming and hosting guests, cooking and serving food, and assisting with other varied duties that help keep a small business running. We are Seeking: • Therapists with 3 - 5 years’ experience in Thai Massage and possess valid training certificates in Thai Massage. Experience in Herbal Ball, Hot Stone, Aromatherapy, Tok Sen and other specialty treatments would be an advantage. • While our preference is for therapists that are resident in New Zealand, we will accept applications from suitable therapists that are on current valid work visas or are wishing to work in New Zealand. • All therapists must be able to speak some English, offer massage advice to clients and explain their treatments, very friendly with excellent 'people' skills, a passion for their job and the ability to work in a team environment. We offer: • A five and six day working week with flexible hours.
