Know more about living and working at the Lakes district About you * Minimum of 3 years experience in a Payroll role * Knowledge of payroll-related legislation, employment agreements, their interpretation, and application * Experience with computerised payroll systems and processes; high level of computer literacy skills (including advanced knowledge of MS Excel and Outlook along with data entry skills) * Proven ability to cope under pressure with a high volume of work * High degree of numeracy skills and time data calculations with accuracy and attention to detail * Ability to set own priorities and meet deadlines without the need for constant supervision * Good analytical, interpersonal, and problem solving skills * Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality * Excellent written and verbal communication skills together with the ability to manage queries from customers in a professional and efficient manner. About the Role We are seeking a Mental Health Act (MHA) Officer who is solution-focused, has highly development office management and organisation skills to ensure smooth coordination application of the Mental Health (Compulsory Assessment Treatment) Act for the Lakes district (Rotorua and Taupo) Mental Health Addiction Services. The role is based at Rotorua and travel to Taupo as required. This role offers variety and a good level of challenge while working with a range of passionate clinicians and other administrators.
