CampusCare Assistant – Security Location: Massey University Manawatū Campus, Palmerston North Employment Type: Full-time, 37.50hrs Join our dedicated CampusCare team and help deliver operational services that support a safe, efficient, and welcoming campus environment at Massey University. This role has a primary focus on security, parking, and traffic, while also contributing to wider CampusCare functions such as waste management, portering, mailroom duties, room set-up, and event support. As a CampusCare Assistant - Security, you will: • Conduct regular foot and vehicle patrols to ensure site safety and security • Monitor and respond to alarms and CCTV systems • Assist with parking enforcement and traffic compliance • Support room setups, events, and general operational services • Engage professionally with students, staff, and visitors to promote campus wellbeing What we’re looking for: • A strong commitment to health, safety, and service excellence • Physical fitness and the ability to work outdoors and on foot across varying terrain • Great communication skills and a respectful, customer-focused approach • Full, clean NZ Class 1 driver’s licence • Certificate of Approval (COA) or ability to obtain one Please note: You will be required to undertake a physical health assessment prior to an employment offer being made. The employment setting will involve work with people across the lifespan, and applicants will be required to comply with the requirements of the Vulnerable Children Act 2014 and the Vulnerable Children (Requirements for Safety Checks of Children’s Workers) Regulations 2015.
