





Toyota New Zealand is on the lookout for a Social Media and Communications Coordinator to bring energy, creativity, and coordination magic to our Marketing team! We're looking for a dynamic communicator to lead content creation and coordination across all social media channels, supporting marketing campaigns and brand initiatives. This role also contributes to PR, corporate, and customer communications, ensuring all content is timely, accurate, and aligned with business goals. This opportunity is permanent/full-time based on-site Monday – Friday at our Head Office in Palmerston North. What's involved in the role: * Own and manage the social media content calendar, scheduling posts and aligning content with campaigns across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and more. * Collaborate with internal teams, agencies, and influencers to create and publish engaging content that enables audience growth and drives campaign success. * Support the development of communications outputs, including social media strategies, communications plans and digital content. * Make sure social media content ties in with wider marketing campaigns, keeping messaging clear, consistent, and true to the Toyota brand. * Track and report on social media and campaign performance, using insights to refine strategy and boost engagement. To be successful in this role, ideally you will have: * A tertiary qualification in Marketing or Communications. * Communications and social media experience and the ability to represent the brand positively. * Proficiency in operating within a range of social media platforms as the business lead. * Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with strong research, copywriting, editing and proofreading abilities across print and digital platforms. * Experience creating content for different social media platforms. * Ability to build strong and effective business relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. * Excellent time management skills, working within a deadline driven environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously. * High proficiency in all Microsoft Office programs.
