👨‍🍳 Chef at Munch Palmerston North Join the team at Palmerston North’s biggest and busiest 100 % gluten free café. We are looking for an experienced and reliable Chef to join our fast paced kitchen. About the Role 👩‍🍳 Baking muffins and other morning items 🥪 Preparing cabinet food 🍳 Cooking across grill fryer and pan sections 🥗 Assisting with food preparation and service ✨ Maintaining high standards of hygiene and food safety Hours 🌞 Primarily day shifts anywhere between 7.00am and 4.30pm 🌙 One evening shift per fortnight finishing by 7.30pm 📅 Guaranteed break on 1 and 2 January 📅 Guaranteed 35 hours Essential Criteria ✅ Proven Chef experience in a busy café or restaurant ✅ Weekend availability both Saturday and Sunday ✅ Baking experience preferred ✅ Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure ✅ Current NZ work visa and already living in New Zealand ✅ Contactable referees provided ✅ Availability for a practical kitchen interview ⚠️ This role is not available for an Accredited Work Visa AWV.
