Join our Technology team as a Network Engineer, this is an 18- month fixed- term full time position reporting directly to our IT Operations Manager. In this position you will be responsible for configuration and management of enterprise network infrastructure as well as supporting the day-to-day operation of the wider business. You will be responsible for maintenance of the network infrastructure that underpins ANZCOs products and services. This role ensures ANZCO effectively meets service and delivery goals with particular focus on the Core network, internet edge and complex engineering. A key function of the role is to ensure the company's infrastructure is reliable and well managed. Duties and Responsibilities will include * Work on continuous improvement of IT Systems in accordance with ANZCO Foods strategic plan. * Identify practical opportunities and proactively suggest quality improvements to systems and practises. * Sound knowledge on end user compute environment builds, management and deployment methods. * Technical problem-solving skills with the ability to take ownership and see through to resolution. * Troubleshooting performance issues and providing technical and advisory support to ensure a successful outcome. * Maintain high quality documentation and quality improvements to systems and practises. * Maintaining and optimising firewall rules. Skills and Experience we are looking for * Tertiary qualification in relevant ICT and/or Business subject. * Experience with IT Systems that interface with Plant Equipment. * A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role with a major company. * Experience on the Palo Alto/Fortinet Firewalls (Desirable). * Deep knowledge of enterprise routing and switching protocols, BGP, VLANs, Subnetting etc. * The ability to train and mentor others. * This role requires a high degree of professionalism with a requirement for on-going. technical and non-technical development. * Experience with Operational Technology (Scada, PLCs) (Desirable).
