The Shed Services Waikato Co-ordinator plays a vital role in managing the day-to-day operations of our Waikato shed services team. This position oversees the removal of litter from chicken sheds, ensures cleaning is completed to prescribed standards, and maintains all equipment in excellent condition. The role requires a strong focus on operational efficiency, health and safety compliance, and maintaining trusted customer relationships. Key Responsibilities: * Schedule and coordinate farm clean-outs and team resourcing. * Ensure all sheds are cleaned to the required standards and surroundings left tidy. * Maintain vehicles, plant, and machinery to a high operational and presentation standard. * Oversee customer service relationships with farmers and contractors. * Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, and NZ health and safety legislation. * Maintain accurate records, vehicle checks, and compliance documentation. * Liaise with suppliers for maintenance and repairs as needed. * Participate in training, meetings, and continuous improvement initiatives. Ideal Applicant: * Proven experience in agricultural, transport, or operational coordination roles. * Strong organisational and scheduling skills with attention to detail. * Mechanical aptitude and practical problem-solving ability. * Commitment to health, safety, and environmental standards. * Excellent communication and customer service skills. * Ability to lead a small team and foster a positive work culture. * Full NZ driver’s licence (Class 2 or higher advantageous). * Physically fit and comfortable working in a hands-on, outdoor environment.
