Key responsibilities are: • Take part in routine roading maintenance activities • Roading repairs and renewals, including drainage works, kerb & channel prep, footpath maintenance and renewals, boundary to boundary carriageway maintenance, as well as emergency repairs • Responding to incidents and clean ups on the roads on after hours call out roster This is a permanent full-time position. The work is Monday to Friday between the hours of 6.00am to 6.00pm and Saturday work will be required from time to time. About you: Essential: • Demonstrated experience in Road and Drainage Construction and Maintenance • Full class 1 license • Demonstrated ability, willingness and commitment to be multi-skilled • A reasonable level of physical fitness, due to the physical nature of the position • Be a reliable and flexible team-player Desirable: • Class 2 /5 licence • WTR endorsement preferred • Excavator operator experience • Grader operator experience • Traffic Controllers Qualifications preferred • Site Safe/Construct Safe preferred.
