He Korero Mo Te Turanga | The Role Are you ready to apply your skills and make a difference every day? We're seeking a compassionate and capable leader to manage our Residential Youth Service in Blockhouse Bay. This is a trauma-informed, therapeutic service that supports young wahine (women) facing complex life challenges, including mental health needs and histories of trauma. Here, healing and stability come through connection, structure, and safety. As Service Manager, you'll guide a multidisciplinary team to deliver wraparound care that places rangatahi (youth) at the centre. You'll lead day-to-day operations, ensure clinical and contractual standards are met, and foster an environment where tangata whaiora (clients) and their whanau (family) feel respected, safe, and supported. Key Responsibilities Include: * Leading, coaching, and developing a dedicated, multidisciplinary team * Ensuring high-quality, person-centred care in a residential setting * Coordinating service delivery and overseeing daily operations * Building strong, collaborative relationships with whanau and external partners * Monitoring service quality and reporting against performance and budget indicators * Supporting a culture of learning, reflection, and continuous improvement He Korero Mou | About You You're an experienced leader who is passionate about youth wellbeing and the positive impact of trauma-informed support. You're calm under pressure, solution-focused, and confident in engaging across a range of cultural contexts. You will bring: * At least 2 years' experience in a similar role within youth, health, or disability services * A relevant Level 7+ tertiary qualification (e.g., Nursing, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Psychology, AOD) * Full registration and a current APC under the HPCA Act 2003 * Proven team leadership, service coordination, and communication skills * Understanding of whanau-centred and culturally responsive care * A full, clean NZ driver's licence Nga Hua | We Offer Join us to experience a work environment where values are not just words on a page.
