We’re looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Machine Cleaner to join our client’s sanitation team in a fast-paced food manufacturing facility. You’ll be responsible for cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining food processing equipment to ensure compliance with food safety standards Key Responsibilities: • Dismantle, clean, and reassemble production machinery safely • Use approved cleaning agents and equipment, pressure washers, etc.) • Ensure all machinery and surfaces meet food safety & hygiene standards • Accurately complete cleaning logs and documentation • Follow all company safety and hygiene protocols • Collaborate with QA and maintenance teams as needed Requirements: • Previous experience in food manufacturing or industrial cleaning preferred • Understanding of sanitation best practices • Physically fit – ability to lift to 50 lbs, stand for long periods • Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently • Flexibility to work night/weekend shifts as needed To be considered for this role, you will need to be eligible to work in New Zealand (evidence required), pass a Pre-Employment Background Check and numeracy test.
