Old Gold Ring A dainty old looking gold ring. Purchased many years ago by my parents as scrap gold, as they were dealers in collectables for around 25 years. My mother tells me they added the two real diamonds themselves from a small bag of salvaged stones from other scrap gold rings. One of the end pearls, also, as it's a mismatch for the other two. The ring would have tested as gold at time of purchase (decades ago) as they were in the business of buying scrap gold. No hallmarks and my mother and I don't know the gold purity. There is a small repaired break I have circled in a photo. This appears to have been soldered on the inside and is perfectly stable. An unusual and quirky little ring that looks better in the hand than the photographs.
