About the opportunity | Mō tēnei tūranga By joining our nationwide Farm Source store team, you’re joining a group of agricultural experts and setting yourself up for an outstanding career. We are looking for a proactive, well organised team member to join our busy local Rakaia store, you’ll provide sound farming product advice to our loyal customers. This role entails customer service and delivering our farmers orders onto farm in a timely manner, you’ll never be bored in this fast-paced role! With the opportunity to hone your agricultural expertise and open the door to multiple career pathways throughout the wider business, there couldn’t be a better place to start Hours of work will be Monday to Friday 8 am till 5 pm with rostered Saturdays. . About you | Mōu You’ll be a self-motivated, adaptable team member with excellent customer service and communication skills. You’ll have a high level of physical fitness; we are looking for someone who is hands on and able to sustain repetitive manual handling such as lifting our 25kg bags of product, moving and delivering up to 200L Drums on a daily basis. Ideally, you’ll have some prior customer service/sales experience and a connection to the agricultural industry. That said, we’re equally open to those looking to make a move straight off farm or who are current customer experts keen to learn all about the ag/dairy industry. Sound like you, other key things we’re on the lookout for includes: Rural experience would be beneficial, but not essential. *A good level of physical fitness – you’ll have no trouble getting your daily steps in! *A clean full drivers license and experience driving with trailers *Valid forklift license – or willingness to attain one!
